Less than 6 months in and motor is done. Tried using it in the winter on fan mode to cool my room off for a little bit and motor is now shot. After 5 months I will be getting a new AC unit. Guess I am headed to Amazon to find a durable one.

GE products have always been a go to for the most part as a landlord of multiple units, especially when it comes to appliances; but this air conditioner that I bought is totally underwhelming and does not perform to the designated square footage specifications. I had to put a Lasko fan underneath it to increase its performance slightly, but it’s about 200 ft.² under its potential.
