This AC unit is very effective and cools down a large size room. I have installed it in our master bedroom size (16feet by 20 feet) and have reduce the central AC consumption.

Our in-wall unit in our apartment died and rather than get a new one and deal with an installer, haul away, and generally the pain-in-the-neck it is to do anything in New York City, we decided to go with a portable that we can move to room to room and leave the old unit in place, broken. This GE portable was super easy to unpack, install, booted right up, is easy to operate and fits within our lifestyle and needs.
