1. The set up for the air conditioner is straightforward. 2. It is very quiet for a high capacity air conditioner. 3. It comes with all the required accessories. 4. It can be operated as a fan, dehumidifier and air conditioner. It is quiet sophisticated. 5. It is lightweight and has wheels so it can be moved around easily. 6. It is very compact and less space consuming as well.

I got this GE® 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner for Small Rooms up to 150 sq ft. (5,300 BTU SACC) to use in my older house - I am using the air conditioner in my master bedroom - so far it is working well - but the dog days of summer are yet to come and I will see how well it works. It is a little bigger than I was hoping it would be -- it also is not to loud although I like white noise while I'm sleeping
