Our rear bedroom was warm and decided to purchase a window unit to keep it cooler from the recent HOT weather. After installing the unit it stay real cool now, its a great AC unit.

I installed these in our log cabin which is a short term rental property and also a vacation home for us. I love the Wi-Fi connection because I can control all 6 of my AC units from one app. I can cool the house down before a new guests arrive and shut them down when they leave even though I live out of state. Total game changer for the comfort of my guests.

First off, this is the best price for an 8k BTU that I was able to find with wifi/app connectivity. I wasn't particularly looking for a wifi unit with an app, but luckily this one was the only 8k BTU unit at Lowes at that time. Otherwise, I would have missed out on the app features by getting a standard unit. The app is super easy to use and I actually find it much more useful than I expected. Note that this is a supplemental window unit to help keep my westward-facing living room cool in this hot Texas summer, so I adjust the temperature regularly to ensure it only comes on when the central HVAC is struggling to keep up. It puts out a good amount of cold air.
