Installation was easy, I used the recommended wall sleeve in an existing hole from a previous unit that had been in the wall and this unit slide right. I am running it in a 350 sqft bedroom and this unit has it cooled off all day long. With the recent unseasonable cold we had up here I was able to try out the heat and it worked superbly. Had the room nice and warm rather quickly and kept it there with minimal effort. Remote control is a wonderful addition, I can turn it up or down without getting my laxy self out of bed!

The GE AKEQ12DCH 12,000 BTU in wall air conditioner is everything I could have possibly wanted. This can cool the largest of rooms with ease. I briefly tried out the heating option and I must say this will be a favorite to have year round. Everything is easy to control with the remote. Just keep in mind this is 230V when you are ready to install this AC .

I mam very happy with this product. It is 12,000 BTU and completely cools the entire down stairs of my house. Mounting it was much easier than I thought, and since it does heat as well, I will keep it in year round. It is pretty quiet, and only down side is that it will add to the electric bill, although I think it will be cheaper than running the three window AC's that I use to use to cool the same area before installing this.

This in the wall air conditioning Unit by General electric is just wonderful. It is a powerful unit that cools a room quickly. It fits perfectly into the wall sleeve that comes with the product. The convenience of a remote control is added. It is pretty quiet for the size of the unit. I'm quite impressed and recommend it!!

This air conditioner is cool! Haha. But really, it works perfectly to keep the temperature comfortable. It was easy to install and is easy to use. It works quietly and efficiently. It is big enough to cool several rooms. All in all this is a great upgrade for my house!
