PGP9030SLSS 5 Burner Cooktop - Excellent

This 5 burner replaced our old 4 burner and we love it. Looks great and the burners produce a lot of heat - especially the center burner. Love the griddle as well.

Great utility, with 4 burner sizes, incl. the large center double-flame burner. Good flame control. Easy to clean. Easy to install. [GE should design sturdier, more rigid, better attachments below the counter top.] Bought it to replace a 30" GE cooktop with downdraft exhaust [from 2002].

Cooktop is good, but the knobs melted !!!!

We think the cook top works great but when the pan touched the know it melted. I was shocked because I thought the knobs would be designed to not melt with heat.

While it is perfectly working, I’m having trouble understanding why they would design the knobs with a plastic coating. Mine have melted, and look terrible. Very poor construction of the knobs for such an expensive cook top,other then that it is awesome. But don’t put your hot pans anywhere near the knobs, they will melt.
