Like everyone else with negative reviews here on Frigidaire and many threads on the web, we are down to one button after a few years. I contacted Frigidaire after our first year when the first button fell off, and they would not honor the warranty. Both of our neighbors have the same vent and the same problem. All of our appliances are Frigidaire (e.g., Stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) and have served us well outside this hood. With so many complaints and negative reviews, it would seem like Frigidaire would have extended the warranty or recalled this hood. Consider a range hood that will last longer with a better warranty that won't leave you with a useless scrap of metal!

Have had it less than a year, the buttons are aluminum so can't get to it using magnetic grabber, going to require uninstalling the whole unit. Level 2-3 fan is annoyingly loud. Contacted parts replacement line, they do not offer the buttons by themselves, that's a huge mistake. Please tell me the person I spoke to is wrong, and that you do in fact offer these buttons. Or tell me how to remove the front trim piece that covers the switch assembly. I'd rather have wisdom teeth pulled than have to take this vent hood down. It was not an easy install.

PROS-Very high suction at high speedCONS-At high speed very loud-does not have have enough mounting holes and installer ends up drilling in cabinet at incorrect places.-filter very flimsy-average build quality.

This range hood is very stream lined with the few buttons on the front. The lights arenât very bright but the fan is fairly quiet. It needs a little design improvement . Does the job.
