I love my new microwave. It is extremely quiet and cooks incredibly evenly. All the available presets make it easy to use and takes the guess work out of microwaving. It matches my Jenn-Air convection oven perfectly, almost looking like a single unit.
Powerful, but lacks ease of use.

This microwave came as part of a Jenn-air package deal which included a fridge, oven, range, and dishwasher. I'm impressed by the quality, design, and features of all the other appliances, but this was not well thought out. It has plenty of power and does heat food up quickly, probably faster than other microwaves we've owned, but the controls are lacking. Previous microwaves I've owned, have "one touch" cooking, that set the cook time start the microwave when you press one of the numeric keys. For example, press the "1" key and the microwave immediately starts cooking for one minute. This microwave requires you to press for keys 1,0,0, Start. Also, the power level can not be adjusted while the microwave is running. You must set the power level before hand. Lastly, the font on the keys is small so I have to grab my reading glasses so read the keys I don't use often, like reheating an entree. Should this microwave die an untimely death, it will be replaced with another brand. No need to spend a lot to get the features this unit lacks.
Display Difficult to Read

Although we are very happy with the overall performance of our Jenn-Air Microwave we have one concern. The display panel is very difficult to read due to the size and color of the function keys. The color of the function keys causes them to blend too deeply into the display background rather than stand out making it very difficult for those with 'older' eyes or vision problems to use them. If the function keys were outlined more boldly it would allow for easier identification of each function. Thank you.
Dangerous! Terrible service.

I bought the oven new. The first time I turned it on, it smelled of burning plastic and the oven wouldn’t shut off. I had to kill the power to the appliance to get it to shut down. When I called Jenn Air, they referred me to their emergency department and scheduled a technician to see it in 10 days. 10 days! No cooking at home with a bomb in my kitchen. No thank you, Jenn Air, I will never buy another one of your appliances.

I was disappointed when I plugged this micro in as I need a flashlight to read the display . The micro works great , but I thought it would have back lighting . Now I know it doesn't .
