Every glass that comes out of machine needs to be hand washed to remove film. We pre-rinse glasses and use recommended detergent.

I have been using portable dishwashers for 40 years and honestly I have always had good luck with each name brand but so far this dishwasher is a true test of awesome technology. This dishwasher is by far the best machine I have bought and used but to be honest the final test will be the years of trouble free use I hope to get out of this unit , other machines have lasted me 25 years if the performance of this dishwasher is any indication of quality I expect it will out last the others I purchased.

It cleans dishes better than I expected and it is very quiet for a portable dishwasher. The downside was that Lowe’s didn’t offer installation, but I was able to “hardwire†it into my plumbing myself.
