| Care Instructions | Installation and Care Instructions NOTICE: Review Frigidaire Refrigerator Use and Care Guide before installation and use of system. See fits models listing on Frigidaire.com. Fits all PureSource Ultra® and PureSource® 3 models manufactured by Frigidaire after 2009. 1. Push to release current filter, remove and discard. 2. Slide the new filter into the housing and push until it locks in place. 3. Run water through the dispenser for approximately 3 minutes, or 1.5 gallons, to prime the filter before use. Discard the water. 4. Replace every 6 months or 200 gallons (757 liters), whichever comes first. |

I have been using the filters for a long time. Something has changed. The water is cloudy with bubbles. The reading of the metals in the water is higher than water from the sink faucet. I returned the first one thinking maybe it had been tampered with. The second is the same. Problem is without this filter you don’t have an ice maker. I will be trying an after market.

We bought this filter a month ago and it already needs to be changed! I also didn’t notice a difference between the sink water and the water using this filter.

My water filter arrived by mail. It was just in a "padded" envelope, I openned it and the box was smashed. Ok didnt think any thing of it, so once the noticed came up to replace filter, I did as I always do. Well a month later I had water leaking inside my refrigerator. When I was searching for the area it had been leaking from I was not able to locate. SO thank fully I have the extended warranty. The repair man came out and when he pulled out the center drawer there was already formed an entire block of ice. Long story short the water that leaked came from a DEFECTIVE water filter that I get directly from Frigidaire. It was cracked and I never even had noticed when I replaced it. My question is HOW DO I UNENROLL in automatic deliveries? This site is really not user friendly at all. I would rather go to Lowes my self and get my next filter. Did I mention I had to take a personal day off to be there for the repair man!! Is Frigidaire going to reimburse me my time???
