Must buy a different filter cup holder now

The replacement filters that normally came in a blue box has been changed. The box is red now but a different cup holder must be purchased in order to fit the filter from the red box. The cost for both parts comes to approximately $70. So angry about this.....

Bought this filter in week ago. Filter does not fit cup; therefore filter cannot be screwed into place in refrigerator. Why? It looks like exactly like the previous one except for the color. The previous one was blue. But it just does not fit. Do you still sell the blue ones?

I ordered this filter, but the one I received does not fit into the cup holder. The bottom is too big. Poor quality control on the manufacturing line?
