Big problems

Bought 2.5 years ago. Three months ago had a refrigerant leak. Still under warranty so should be no problem right? Contacted warranty folks and sent out repair company to work on it. Three months and seven visits later they are still ordering parts and now my refrigerator is at 62 degrees. Three months where I have had hundreds of dollars of food go bad and spent hundreds more to eat out because nothing stays cold. Can any of you go three months without a properly working refrigerator? Someone needs to just say it is unrepairable and buy me out or replace it. This is rediculous.

LG is a worldwide brand with great products but unfortunately the French-door refrigerator has a BASIG SHAMEFUL PROBLEM. The water filter needs a technician to be replaced. This is the second filter replacement since we bought this unit and it is the second time that we had to call an LG technician to do something that was supposed to be so simple changing a water filter and worse we have to pay the technician to do it pay for a problem that is not ours. Ive spoken to other LG French-door refrigerator and they have the same problem. A simple water filter replacement. How did the designers engineers quality control missed this simple item. One of the only things that a owner needs to do changing a filter and it cannot be done easily. SUCH A SHAME LG. Are we going to have to call your technician every time that the water filet needs to be replaced??? Besides paying for the filter we will always have to pay for it to be replaced? Do you really need to make money this way?

We love the look and features of our refrigerator the counter depth size is perfect for our kitchen too. The only thing we are having trouble with is the water filter. We are unable to keep the filters from popping out and spilling water inside. All online reviews state the same issue. I am going to have to have to have a service man replace it or see if the internal mechanism is damaged.

So far Ive really liked this frig notice I didnt say love. Ive had a little difficulty handling the freezer on the lower level. Things are hard to find and Im used to being able to see the freezer side at eye level Ive always had the side to side doors. I also miss being able to measure the water Im getting out of the water spigot. My last one enable you to measure how much water you were getting. Small detail I know but I miss these little things. Boo hoo.
