I like the full width storage for cheese and sandwich meat especially. Having some problems getting the temperature right. When the freezer is cold enough the fridge is too cold and when the freezer is too warm the fridge is just right.

I have no refrigerator

I have had two of these refrigerators in my home within a month after going back-and-forth with Home Depot and Maytag/Whirlpool corporate offices. Each telling me that I had to deal with the other to get the issues resolved.It is been over a month since I have had a working refrigerator. I purchased this refrigerator because it had overall good reviews. Neither refrigerator I received maintains the appropriate temperatures. I realized this after I purchased the first one and got sick from food kept in the refrigerator. The refrigerator and freezer controls were set at the recommended settings and initially got to the right temperatures within the first 24 hours but apparently did not maintain. The freezer temperature went up to 20° and the refrigerator to 45°! A freezer should be at or below 0° and refrigerator under 40°. Since I didn’t realize the problem within the required 48 hours I could not return the refrigerator. A Maytag Repair person came out and said it was the compressor -there was absolutely no frost buildup in the the freezer. Since it would’ve taken the same amount of time to get the part as a new refrigerator I wanted a new refrigerator and not a broken one that had to be repaired. I waited a week and a half for the replacement refrigerator. The 2nd one did not maintain the correct temperatures. Freezer going up to 20° again and the refrigerator over 40°! I am now a month without a refrigerator. They are finally coming to pick up the second refrigerator tomorrow after making me wait another week. Unless you want your food to be spoiled, lose $ on food, waste hours of your time waiting for refrigerators to be delivered and then picked up (The first one was scheduled to be delivered between 10-3 And arrived at 7:30 PM.! ), monitoring temperatures and taking pictures of thermometers as proof to send to corporate offices, and then go without a refrigerator for a month. This has been a nightmare!!!! Do not buy this refrigerator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy with my new refrigerator!!! My old one was at least 25 years old & finally died !! This one has so much more room. I had a side by side, but I really love this fridge on bottom & freezer on top !!!!!
