I bought this LG window air conditioner 2 months ago and Im very happy about it for the following reason. 1. It is much lighter compared to my older window air conditioner from another vendor. 2. It cools the room quickly and quietly. 3. It looks pretty. The white color matches the color of the wall and it makes the room looks brighter. Nice 4. The LG service is wonderful. I sent an email to LG support and got a response quickly. 100 satisfied. Thanks Julius from LG Electronics Customer Support.

Worked for just 4 years of light use then the compressor died. Only used it 2 or 3 months a year. When it worked it was the loudest air conditioner Ive ever heard. When the compressor kicked in it hummed so loudly and vibrated. Just a sub-par unit. I now have another top tier brand that is superior. You get what you pay for folks. Pass on this one.

After 2 weeks of use a fan blade broke off. Took nearly a month of daily phone calls to LG to get a replacement.

We are happy with the cooling but this air conditioner is very noisy. The compressor kicks in very loud and it sometimes just gets loud at random times like it is trying to work harder.
