I had 2 LG air conditioners already in my bedrooms and I really like them. So I bought the same type again only this one has WI-Fi and connects to Alexa.. It cools my whole living room and dining area. about 400 Sq Ft Its quiet and cools nicely..

More trouble than its worth

I bought this last year. And it is deteriorating rapidly. It goes through periods where it will not cool according to LG support the only remedy is to unplug the unit sometimes for hours and then run it again sometimes for hours at max cool and max fan to get it working again. When it doesnt work it will emit a loud distressing buzzing noise. Since last year it has gotten noticeably worse requiring this hard restart at least once a day. I cannot use the cooling during the night as it will inevitably fail and wake me up with the buzzing sound. If you like the idea of constantly fiddling with your AC unit of never knowing how long your rooms will be cool or what horrible noises you will endure This is the unit for you. For all others I would avoid.
