This AC controls malfunction in less than one cooling season. Bright clean and pay so much for non working AC

I really like the air conditioner and it cools off my front room area with no problems. I also love the fact that I can control the thermostat and cooling setting from my phone. Whether I’m home or at work as a travel nurse I am in control of the temperature of my home.

I am Livid! I was sucha fan of GE . My Mother purchased one years ago that lasted a really long time . I recently tossed it out as it was old ( it was still working ) to replace it with this newer model. In fact I had purchased two . One for the Living Room and the Bedroom . My Bedroom stopworking . I had reset it came . The same with the LV . NOW we are approaching the Summer the weather is warming up and my AC is NO longer working after a purchase of 7 months .I call for repair to schedule a appt . The Technician calls me ask me about my make and model . I send it he says he will call me back . NO call . I call him back to only find out that he said he called GE and they advise they NO longer make parts for my Newly modelled AC they charge almost $500.00 ( Say What ) . The Technician advised me to call GE number . I call the number he provided 1800 386-1215 to be transfered 3 times . I am currently on hold waiting for a representative for 25 minutes . I will NOT purchase another GE product after this
