I purchased this unit for a 230 sq ft room as its rated for 300 sq ft. The unit is unable to cool the room below 72 degrees regardless of how long we let it run. I have reached out to LG twice for a technician to come look at the unit. They have yet to reach out to schedule.

I would highly recommend this unit for small Apts this a/c will cool my 480sq foot apt on low energy saving setting. 1 month into 1 of the warmest summers ever in MN. It has totally exceeded my expectations.

I dont understand why exterior of a/c unit has no protective cover and coils and whole a/c is exposed to rain and lightning. Every unit my neighbors have and my previous A/C always had a cover
