This toaster has a heavy, quality feel to it and toasts evenly. But the bread slots are too short for longer bread slices and only accommodate standard loaf pieces. In addition, when done the bread does not pop up high enough, causing you to reach in to retrieve it. For the high price I was expecting a more thoughtfully designed toaster.

High quality product.....reminds me of the way appliances were made in the 50's and 60's. Well designed and engineered. In this eco -friendly day and age, we should be building things to last instead of being a throw away society

I purchased the toaster about a month ago. I love the quality of the unit. It is very well constructed. The controls are very easy to use. I am spoiled in that the toaster automatically lowers the bread. It is also very easy to clean. Time will tell how long the unit will last.

Came across this toaster set up as a display when shopping for new appliances for our new house. I was amazed at the weight and solidness of the toaster. Loved the colour! When I got home I researched the toaster and was rather taken aback by the price - I got it as a house warming gift and love the unique features of bread automatically going down and the warm feature if the toast is not taken out after so many seconds. Although pricey I really like the toaster.
