Gets the room ice cold. Easy to set up. It’s very powerful and looks like it’s going to hold up a good while. Love the timer option as well as the auto swing option. My only regret is not having bought 2 of these units.

I live in Seattle where we only use AC for a few weeks each year. This unit worked ok last year under sporadic use in July and August. We stored carefully until mid July this year, made sure filters were clean, plugged it in, and no cold air. It doesn’t work. We have another less expensive brand that still works great in its 7th year.

I purchased this two years ago as hurricane preparation to cool a sunroom & portable into a bedroom for evenings. The unit performs as advertised for the BTU's and recommended room size. The only problem had was a damaged hose during shipping but Customer Service immediately sent out a replacement. I experienced terrific CS from the rep I spoke with and would recommend this unit to others. I rated it four stars because of a couple of changes I personally would like to see but I didn't have a say in the preferences.

I bought 3 of them and 1 broke with in a year and 1 broke at a year and 2 weeks so they won’t fix it.

Worked great the first season no issues. Stored appropriately. Plugged in this year and filled up with water within the first day of use on A/C mode. Read, re- read the manual. Cleaned and re cleaned. No change. Fills up after a few hours.
