This is my 3rd Jenn-Air. One drop in range and two cooktops. The range was running well for 15 years before I moved. I did wear out a burner and a knob on my 16-year-old cooktop before replacing it with this one. I had it 2 weeks and noticed minute bubbles under the glass. A serviceman came in today, immediately identified the issue as thermal damage, the glass surface was not properly cured. He is going to replace the glass.
Great electrical stovetop.

Our old Jenn-air quite working (16 years old) so we bought a new (2018) one. The new one heats very quickly almost like an induction cooktop. Cleans fairly easy and has more burner room.

Definitely more attractive, easier to clean, and the fan is quieter than previous Jenn Air Cooktop. I do wish the exhaust was a bit more powerful. Skillet and small sauce pan steam is easily captured, but the majority of steam from taller pots escapes.
